Christmas

 Christmas Eve Eve

We celebrated Christmas and Grammie's birthday at Rashelle's this year. Kayleen's family couldn't come because they had Covid at their house. That was too bad. We had a delicious Maddox dinner and sang to Grammie:

We wore our masks when we weren't eating and we ate at separate family tables. We want to keep cute Grammie healthy!

Christmas Eve:

It started with an unplanned trip to the grocery store because there was a sale on ground beef and I came home also with lots of strawberries that needed immediate attention:

I spent about 7 hours in the kitchen this day. Jam. Jello. Sugar Cookies. Manger scenes. Tamales from scratch. Lunch. And more dinner prep. It turned out to be lovely and so yummy:

After dinner we facetimed with Nana to play some piano Christmas songs for her. She loved it:
Then it was downstairs to open new pj's and watch the Grinch:
We ended the night with hymns and Come Follow Me and the story from Luke 2. It was nice:
Time for bed! So excciting:
Christmas Day:
4 stockings are filled:
Ready for kids to come downstairs!:
Let's check out the stockings and open some gifts:

A, Dad let you practice a little shooting into a box at the end of the hall. You are so happy with this gift and you didn't shoot your eye out!:
We opened gifts at Gramma and Grandpa's house. Gramma got a game called Keeping it Saxy:
Grandpa got a book called Crap Taxidermy and it sure made him laugh:
You guys got gifts too, and you're already snuggling with your new blankets. Also Laura's dog is snuggling with Dad:

Still laughing at Grandpa's book:
After lunch we did the bells:
Then it was time to go home and give Pluto his special dinner that Santa left him. He couldn't wait:
Lastly, just a cute pictures of Pluto by the tree for his Instagram account.:
I miss the lights now that it's all put away. The lights on people's houses and on our tree just makes me feel so happy. I love Christmas time. It's so fun to watch you guys enjoy it and see the magic in your eyes.
Sure love you guys!
Mom
