Life Lately in June

 Hi!

Here are pics from June. I went on a walking field trip with A. We passed these beautiful poppies on the way:

And we made it to the theater!:
Girls night out:
On the way home there was was a small storm and as we got off the freeway we saw this double rainbow:
Then the sky put on a show:

Free pizza one day:
Blowing bubbles and playing in the sprinklers with a friend:
I made this for your cousin that graduated this year. He loves cats:
Hammer went fishing for YM:
Mini golf time!:
Hammer, you went to the orthodontist and got a palate expander in. It was rough, you felt like it was gagging you, but you are used to it now!:
Costco lunch day was a pretty great day:
Since Grammie bought our dinner on TJ's birthday, we got his Burger Bar request a few days later. Here you are TJ with your big fish sandwich:
I found these cool mousse on a cheap special at Smith's. It was a fun yummy treat:
Father's Day! Here is Dad and A with the poster that A made. My favorite part says "Your head is better than any other Dad." I was confused until we figured out it should say "You are heads above any other Dad." Dad liked his gift!:
TJ got a roll of quarters and found a bunch for his collection:
We decided to assign a theme to our summer days. Mondays are now Make it Mondays so you guys got Legos out and made creations. Another Monday you made blog posts on here:
Zoo day with cousins! This is a pregnant monkey:

Gorillas were kinda hard to see this day:
Crocs:
Burrowing owl:

My favorite guys, smoochin it up:
TJ is growing! He used to be not much bigger than this little guy:
Splash pad:
Cherry Hill with the deacons:
They fixed this ride and it's pretty fun now! Can you tell who is coming down the river?:

We saw a crappy purple scion after swimming. We had to take a pic to send to Grandpa:
Free Ogden Saturday activity! 2 boys went with me to the small planetarium. We saw the sun spots:

and saw a star show:
Tiniest strawberry that we grew:
The End!
Love you,
Mom

Primary Day Camp

Hi! This is A.
TJ, Mom, and I went to Camp Kiesel. It was an hour away. The first thing we did was a flag ceremony and there was a funny guy that taught us a funny song called "Hey, my name is Joe." After that, the first activity that our group did was the obstacle course:
Here is TJ going across the monkey bridge:
This is me, in the orange shirt, on the bridge. You may ask why there are so many trees? It's because Camp Kiesel is in nature. After you cross the bridge you run through the trees and after some tires you have to do some sling shots:
Next we did bb guns:
The only hard part was pumping the gun:
We had to take turns and try to hit those targets that you can see. People were yelling "shoot the butterfly!"
Next was archery:
We learned to use these bow and arrows:
It was hard to pull back all the way:
Our next activity was field games. Can you guess what we did from this picture?:
The boys are cheering here because we won a race:

After that was lunch and then a nature trail:

This funny guy taught us about animals like squirrels and deer and bears. Here we are learning about a poisonous plant:
Here is our whole group:
Next we went canoeing. We were excited to do this part:
Can you see me and TJ? We are ready to launch. I got to sit in the front:
Finally we were moving! It was kind of hard to paddle.
There was a guy out on the lake that liked to splash us with his paddle. I got really wet and didn't want to because the sun wasn't shining. My feet were turning pink because the water was so cold. It was really fun though. There were geese in the water too:
This is where we row boated.
Our last stop was spending money at the store. I got a scorpion in amber on a necklace, a notebook, a parachute ninja, and a little rock animal. TJ got a necklace and animal too.
The row boats were my favorite part. I want to go again!

Love,
A
