2018 Art Show

Dear Kiddos,

We loved seeing your art work at the school art show again this year. You each had 2 paintings displayed. It was fun to find them and see how cool they were:

Also cool was that TJ's extra art from home won first place!! You were super excited about that TJ:

Your art is now framed and hanging in the school! It extra special since this is your second time winning and  you've only been at school 2 years! Good job!!

April's Phone Favs

Life lately:

Fish had a birthday party at the park. It was so sunny and hot. You gave your friend Koolaid bottles and she shared at the party:

TJ had a school birthday week. At the end of the week I came in to tell the class about you TJ and to read your favorite book: The Book With No Pictures. Before we handed out the skittles treat, each classmate in the circle had a chance to say what they like about you:

Lagoon opened! There are all 5 of my lovies on the little swings:

TJ, Dad and I are so proud of you for trying the Puff roller coaster. You were so scared, but over came your fear and realized that it was ok. From there you moved on to bigger roller coasters and you have liked them all!:

Fish, this game was out for a week or so and we had to play it many times:

TJ, you bought this giant soda at the school reading store. You had read a ridiculously large number of minutes and had a lot of money to spend. You shared this pop with everyone, and then guzzled the end out of the bottle:

And then it was freezing again. April couldn't make up it's mind. Hot and sunny one day and then 50 degrees colder the next. Pluto curled up inside when it was cold and cloudy:

A fun weekend

Hi guys,

Last weekend you had a fun time at Gramma's and Grandpa's house. We started out the fun by doing a little service for Gramma around her house and yard. Then we had a family dinner and you really enjoyed playing with my cousin's daughter. Here you all are inside the little play house outside:

All of you also really loved the attention from my Aunt who was visiting from Arizona and slept over too. She showed you pictures on her ipad, danced with you, did puzzles, and played games. You were all in heaven:

The next morning we hit the zoo! It was super crowded but a beautiful day. We rode the train:

saw TJ's favorite animal:

and Lulu's favorite:

had a picnic, and played on the toys.
When we got back to the car I took a picture of Fish in the cute animal hat that I forgot to actually bring into the zoo.

I left the hats in the car so next time we'll be ready to use them.
We are so lucky to be able to go to the zoo so often with Gramma or Great Grandma.
We love the zoo.

Spring is the best

Kids,

I don't know how it's possible to be stunned each year by the beauty of Spring. I'm always surprised by how much joy the blossoms and new leaves and tulips bring. Even the rain clouds were looking cool!

Most of the blossoms are already gone, and they were gone too soon.
At least it means that it's almost summer! Woo hoo! We love playing outside!!
