Our Week - Day 7 -

Thursday

The kids have pretzels while I feel the baby before breakfast

breakfast: cereal

lunch: burrito, berries, carrots

After lunch while the Baby is napping we invite some friends over to play in the pool and slip and slide. The kids have more pretzels for their snack

Lulu and her friend kept stepping on the part of the slip and slide that fills up with water. I kept telling them not to step on it, but it was irresistible or something. Eventually it popped when our friend's girl was on it, so they brought their slip and slide over for us to use for the rest of the summer

Lulu made a few bad choices in a row. First stepping on the slip and slide when I told her not to. Second, going inside the house when she was wet and our friends were here, even though I told her not to. Third, picking raspberries when our friends were over, when I told her before they were even here that she wasn't allowed to. And then when we came back inside and I was nursing, she thought it would be a good idea to make me a card with glitter. She got glitter all over in the carpet. Because of those bad choices, we are not able to go play on our other friends' big water slide today when they invite us.
So, I vacuum up the glitter

dinner: grilled ham and cheese, our favorite broiled green beans, fries

Today I did lots of reading while nursing. I'm almost done with my book

Hammer wants to lay right by his buddy while getting changed. He loves him (sometimes). Usually he's pretty indifferent towards him

and we play in their backyard too. Lulu plays in the playhouse while Hammer swings and I chit-chat with their mommy

Our Week - Day 6 -

Wednesday

breakfast: cereal

Lulu gets dressed and thinks it's funny when her pj's get stuck on her head

Hammer thinks it's funny too, so he copies her

I finish glittering my letters for my project

The finished project. Ready just in time to take the patriotic decorations down

We decide to set the camera up on the tripod and take some pictures of us

My little man patiently waits on the couch between pictures

The kids love to take these pictures and then look at them on the camera immediately after

lunch: left-over fried rice

Wednesday is grocery shopping day. I brave 2 stores with all 3 kids without any meltdowns and without losing any of them

My least favorite part of shopping is putting it all away when I get home

We still have cauliflower and bananas left from last week's Bountiful Basket. I decide to make banana bread and cauliflower soup so we don't waste any of our produce

dinner: Ollie makes us Beef Chimiladas (Chimichangas/Enchiladas), and salad

We enjoy the cooler weather after dinner riding bikes while Ollie is at Scouts

Lulu is getting so big!

Lulu feels so big when I let her take pictures of me with our camera, which doesn't happen too often

Our Week - Day 5 -

Tuesday

The kids were up a lot in the night, so I am still tired when Hammer wakes up before 8. I turn on Elmo's world and give him pretzels while I get back in bed, hoping to get a little nap in. It didn't work because Baby wakes up within minutes needing to be nursed again, and then Lulu is up. It was worth a try though

We try on Baby's blessing shirt from Mexico. It barely fits!

We go to Walmart to get some supplies for my art project that I'm working on

We give in to the delicious smell of grease at Walmart and get McDonalds for lunch

I don't have my camera with me, but I do have the cell phone.
lunch: Happy Meal of nuggets, fries, juice

Lulu loves to play dress up

Hammer plays with his toys in the toy room downstairs while Lulu plays Barbies and dress-ups

After Baby nurses again and I do my chores, we play with some friends at their house on their swing set. It's so hot and muggy today. Another cell phone picture

dinner: egg rolls, and ham fried rice (since we have left over ham from last night). Ollie makes the best fried rice

Lulu reads a book while Hammer plays cars

The baby actually figured out how to suck the bottle and drank all of his milk! That is becoming more and more rare

The kids are enjoying the next door neighbor's apricots for snack. We pick the ones that hang on our side. Yummy
