Kids,
Our annual St George was so fun. We stayed in our own condo and all of your cousins were there in their own condos! Lulu wasn't sure how fun it would be since the plays are canceled, but we still found lots to do and still went swimming at least once a day.
First up, the very first morning we left early and drove out on a dirt road to find some dino tracks.
I thought the area was actually really pretty:
The tracks were not super close to St G, but they were free, close to the parking lot, and super easy to see:
I thought it was pretty cool that they were down in a river bed, were you would expect to see muddy dino prints when they were made!:
I don't know what this is, but it looked cool:
On the way out, on the same dirt road, we stopped to see Fort Pearce, an old Pioneer fort. It was hot and super sunny. We thought about the people that would have lived nearby and how hard it would have been to live there:
As we were driving out we passed right by a bunch of cows. They didn't have very much space to move as there were fences on both sides of the road. I just weaved in between them and we rolled our windows down to get a better view of them:
The oldest kids and me had yummy chicken pot pies for lunch and Uncle Brent picked up free school lunches too:

One morning we explore some trails. They were mostly for bikes, but we explored a little and found some birds, ducks, and lizards. It would be a fun place with bikes and if you go early in the morning. There wasn't a lot of shade:
Then since we were kind of close by, we hit another place on our to-do list: Fossil Falls:
After we explored the bottom part we headed up to the top. You guys loved playing in the shallow warm water and soft sand:
We weren't prepared to get really wet! Next time I would go with swimsuits on.

You guys could have played there all day! Finally we were ready for lunch so we tried a Mexican place called Angelica's. It was really good, but also really greasy. Look at the cool mural they have there:

Lulu was the tour guide at the zoo. Ava made everyone name tags that said what animal they were and what their names were:
Then we tried a new game called Spike Ball and did frisbees and scooters:
Sunset time is the best time to be outside:
It's also when the bunnies come out and eat the grass:
One day after dinner we went swimming. Night swimming is always fun because the lights come on!:

Sunday morning we had church,:

smoothie, rice krispy treats, and a movie!:
You guys loved Back to the Future.
The last morning we packed up and then did a little shopping with the girls while Grandpa and Uncle Andrew had boy time with the boys. The boys think they got the better end of the deal with firecracker pops, saw some giant rabbits, and ate at McDonald's. Before that though, right after we packed, we went on a hike with Preston and Uncle Andrew! It's called Tukupetsi Trail.
First we walked along the top of the ravine:
Then we figured out to get down by the river. That's where we also found the petroglyphs!:
Of course we had to go down and get in the water. The boys seem to think that no hike is worth it without getting their feet wet:,
It was a really pretty place, not too far from the condo, an easy fun trail, and we went on the perfect day! It was only 70 degrees outside. That was down over 30 degrees from the windy Sunday before.

You guys did really well on the way back, once we agreed on the seating arrangement. We stopped to get gas and use the bathroom and I found the soda pop candies you had been searching for in St George. Eating those in the car while listening to our book and watching movies was the perfect way to end our trip.
