November's Pics

Life Lately:

As soon as we were home from St George it was Halloween candy trading time:
I got to go with Fish on this fun field trip:

Lulu got head gear:
TJ wrote a sweet note to leave on his teacher's desk. We are checking off things from our Random Acts of Service list:
Mostly I find pictures of your faces and of Pluto on my phone. I delete most of them, but here's one with his legs crossed daintily:
I had a ministering paint night at my house:
Then it was Thanksgiving! We made lists of things that we are grateful for and then I read them out loud as you tried to guess whose list I was reading from.  You guys really got a kick out of this activity and the most memorable things we learned are that Lulu is grateful for her face and Hammer is grateful for humans. I loved that Fish wrote he is grateful for "Cheasas" (Jesus) and TJ said school and songs. When I read one list that said "work" everyone knew that it was Dad's list.
Here's my short list:
-Jesus
-Family
-Trips
-Clean water and food
-Medicine
-Music
-Holidays
-Friends
Believe me, I can think of more. A lot more. I thought of something different that I was grateful for every single day one year, 360 days (I missed a few on a trip I think). That was a fun project! But this is a short list of the major things that my life wouldn't be the same without. I am so blessed. Thanks for being one of my greatest blessings kiddos.
You had a long weekend off of school to celebrate Thanksgiving. It involved a lot of turkey, nintendo, games, friends, and snow:

And playing with Pluto inside:
We did a little shopping too and Lulu found a fun gift for herself. You made bath bombs and candles:
November was fun. We stayed healthy until the very last week when a few boys got colds, but that's pretty impressive. It's cold around here, and it's beginning to look and feel like Christmas. Woo hoo!
Love you,
Mom

My Little Oregon Trip

Hi guys!

I took a little trip to Oregon last weekend.  It was beautiful weather and the sun came out almost every day! I went to meet your new cousin! It was a lot of fun to snuggle a newborn again. She is so sweet. She smiles so easily.
I stopped at the Portland Airport and thought it was very interesting that there was a little theater showing short films and documentaries. I watched a little.
The second plane that I took was so little. And I could sort of see the volcanoes out the window. It was smokey still from some fires.
Here I am with Baby:
And a pic of her smiling at me:
I took Jen's family pictures, explored a reservoir at sunset, had a 4th birthday party, and painted pumpkins:

So it was a fun time and you guys were so good for Dad. Thanks for that. Sure love you all.
Love,
Mom

St George weekend

My kiddos,

We had a fun long weekend in St George. We started out our first day at Pioneer Park. We found a few new places to explore there!:

and had to squeeze through the crack again too:

The little arch:

Try to find the little people in these next two pictures:

Pioneer cabin:

Then we had a picnic at a new park nearby called Red Hills Desert Garden. It was fun to see the Halloween decorations that were still out:

Found a few dino tracks in the park too:
 and a road runner:
After that we explored the little town of Santa Clara. Not a lot to see, but these old houses were cool:

and the glockenspiel that opens every hour on their town hall building:
We laughed at it though since the doors opened and then nothing happened:
We ended the day with a trip to the dino park, swimming, and a movie:
Gramma brought new Christmas pajamas for you guys to wear too!:
Our second day we did some outlet shopping and then headed over to Sand Hollow State Park. It was such a beautiful warm day and we enjoyed playing in the sand and kayaking:

Dad and TJ tried to fish, but had no luck catching anything:

The warm sun felt so good after nearly freezing at home around Halloween time.
More swimming:

Our last morning we went to church and then the boys got to scooter around while we packed up the car. Here is a photo of the beginning of the video of you guys scootering:
Goodbye Gramma and Grandpa. Thanks for letting us stay with you:
I love that you guys like to get away and explore new things as much as I do. We have a good time together.
Love you my adventurers,
Mom
