 Hi!

August was the bomb. It started off strong with Lulu opening her mission call. We asked friends and family their guesses and put their guesses on the map:

Lulu invited a few people over and then we also did Facebook live. Here's her reaction when she read where she's going:

Lulu starts home MTC on January 13th learning Portuguese. She will serve in the Vitoria Brazil mission! Here are some friends that came that night:

It was the best night. We are all so excited for Lulu:

The other best day was August 5th. Dad and I celebrated our anniversary with DELISH and SPICY authentic Mexican food in Ogden:

Grammie took us out to lunch after our tour:

There were free concerts on Sundays this month. Lulu went with me to two. My friend Kris met me there for a bunch, and TJ went with me once too:

TJ and I did this very hard puzzle:

We did baptisms right before school started. I tried to take a selfie before we went in:

It was bad news. I asked a cute girl to take our picture when we came out, and she took about 20 for us, haha:

We celebrated with ice cream:

and then it was the first day of school:

That night we had a back to school feast. We had crab legs, which I happened to find on Smith's clearance that day (we pay our tithing!) and mashed potatoes and fancy drinks:

It was time to move Lulu back down to college:

Great Grandma invited us on a field trip one Friday. We toured her friend's cool house:

I made strawberry cupcakes and pina colada cupcakes for Ky's bridal shower:

St George Family Reunion '26

 Dear Kiddos,

In July we had our annual St George trip, and all 4 kids came with me! That was fun. We stayed in the 107 condo but did lots of things with cousins, like our very first night we had a night swim:

The next day was Sunday. We went to church and to the temple visitor center:

Gramma and Grandpa's friends are missionaries there and they took us on a little tour. We spent a lot of time checking out this copy of a stained glass mural that's originally in the Rome temple visitor center:

Gramma had provided lots of meals for us to eat together:

One morning we went to Snow Canyon. We did Jenny's Canyon:

and the White Rocks Amphitheater:

At the amphitheater we found a pond with millions of tadpoles. We adopted one and took it back to the condo (he only lived 2 days in the water bottle):

For our craft day, this year we did sticker painting! It was pretty fun. Hammer was kind to help out the littles:

TJ went back to Snow Canyon that evening with me and Jen and Brent. We wanted to check out what was Island in the Sky. We noticed it while driving through the park but it's not on the park's info or on google maps. Turns out it's a box canyon with a technical climbing route up the wall. It's pretty in there, and a short walk from the road:

Across the street is a bridge and a little paved walkway. It such a pretty time of night:

We swam in different pools every day:

One afternoon we all went to a movie, which wasn't a great movie, but it was fun to be together:

We went out for tacos after, for Taco Tuesday:

That night the girls, and Grandpa, went to see Grease:

A storm was blowing in the next morning:

We found the guitar sculpture downtown:

Checked out Greater Zion Visitor Center:

and then when we came out the storm was upon us. We heard/saw one of the biggest lightenings I've ever seen in Utah. We made our way up 1 block to the Pioneer Courthouse. We ran through the rain to the back door and it was locked. It appeared that they weren't open that day. However, someone saw us and came to open the door and then we got a personal tour of the place! That was cool.

There's an old piano upstairs that Uncle Andrew got to play. We had a private mini concert:

After that we changed into our church clothes and did baptisms at the new temple. It was still raining when we went inside:

but look how beautiful it was when we came out!:

After the temple it was time for the arcade and laser tag:

One final play for the boys, and I got to tag along. We had a big group there!:

It was the boys' first time to see Les Mis, and they said they liked it. 

Alas, it was then time to go home. We had a fun time huh?
