Life Lately - September '25

September started out with Dad backpacking with the guys, but they had to do Wind River instead of The Highline, which bummed Dad out since he has been planning to backpack the Highline for years. It was still a good time out in the mountains though. TJ was sad that he didn't get to tag along:

TJ started tennis with UYT, where they have practices twice a week and matches on Saturdays:
Adz volunteered at the Elementary school carnival:

Hammer and TJ went with friends:
TJ earned a soda from one of the games:
Adz won a bunch of sodas when he wasn't on duty:
Final soccer game:

We finally got Adz' birthday meal choice for the family, which was In N Out:
When I get up early with Hammer it's still dark. He leaves during sunrise. This one was really pretty:
One Saturday we went up to Logan to visit Zootah, which is part of our Get Out Pass. Only TJ and I had been there before. We had lots of fun:
The goats in the petting zoo area were very soft and funny. This one is sitting in the feeding trough:

The highlight was seeing the lemurs. All 4 of them were out!:

Then we went out to dinner, checked out the apparel shop,:
and then two of the boys went to a football game with Dad and John:
Hammer and I went back with Grammie to her house. Hammer watched Ander:
I picked tomatoes in Kayleen's garden:
One beautiful evening at sunset we checked out the scarecrows at the Kaysville USU gardens:

Dad went hunting for deer and came home empty handed:

One Friday I took 2 boys with me to the Ogden Dino Park, to use the Get Out Pass and have a Friday Field Trip. The rocks display is always a hit:
Then we took lots of pics. The boys liked making funny faces in most of the pictures:
There was a little bit of Halloween in the garden as they were getting ready for October:

The traffic was bad to get back home so we explored a little of Ogden canyon while we waited:

We found a tiny bit of Fall color:
One Saturday TJ and I found a gift bag that had Chick Fil A gift cards in it. TJ was in the stories on Instagram:

We had 6 gift cards so everyone got a sandwich.

Lulu facetimed from her spot in the pep band at a football game:

And then it was October! September was full of perfect weather, sunshine, field trips, work, and school.
Love,
Mom

August's Pics

August had a birthday and a big trip, but we did a few other fun things too. We puppysat Lottie and every time she comes over I find creative pictures on my phone:
Uncle John stopped by with his dog, so Pluto had both of his cousins over at the same time!
Family day at Cherry Hill, thanks to Lulu and Hammer. Hammer was there, but he was off with friends. We had a good evening:
Lulu went off to school! I wrapped up some things I thought she'd like to open as needed at school. The tags say things like "open when you are homesick" and "open when you need something sweet." "Open when you need to feel loved" was my favorite because it was the collection of all of the posts I had written about Lulu from birth to college, printed out in a book:
We drove Lulu down to school on a Saturday:
The boys had their first day of school the next Monday:

Our back to school feast was yummy pork loin, mashed potatoes, tomatoes, and some veggies. TJ was the only one home to eat it, as Hammer was at work and Adz was at a friend's. TJ enjoyed the fancy dinner though! Welcome school routines and growth!:
Adz did rec soccer:
The sky was so pretty one night:
TJ thought it was funny to send Lulu pictures of himself sleeping in her bed at home:
He gets a little more sleep than sleeping downstairs with Hammer and hearing Hammer get up 40 minutes before he needs to get up:
Elder's quorum shooting activity- Adz went with Dad:
More soccer. The coach was sweet with the boys:
Lulu's roommates came up for the long Labor Day weekend. The weekend before Labor Day we went up to Grammie's for dinner with 8 of us. The boys were happy to go to and from our house in John's car:
There we go! Fun times.
Love,
Mom
