September '24

 What's up?

September has come and gone. We were sick for a lot of it, and I had it the worst! I was sick for 3 weeks, but only felt crappy for 4 days or so. Then of course I got a sinus infection and a cough that lasted forever. But that didn't stop us from getting out and having fun! You guys are keeping me busy with your sports and activities! Plus we got out there and enjoyed the warm weather and the changing leaves.

While Dad was backpacking we went to your Aunt's house to pick corn and then Grammie helped us process it! We picked, shucked, blanched, cut, and bagged quite a bit of corn to put in the freezer. Thanks for helping! We also got to get in their pool:

I made a blackberry peach pie with the peaches I had left from Kayleen's tree and her blackberries! It was so good:

Elementary school carnival was a success. All three boys had lots of fun:

When you are asked to take dinner to your ministering sister on Chile's Independence Day, they get a plate of empanadas too:

While the older boys were at tennis one Saturday, Lulu and Adz explored the bird refuge with me:

Lulu had band one day after school but the boys got to go look for Fall!:

This has been a really warm September. Every soccer game was hot! I haven't complained about the warmth. I'm loving the sunshine and cooler nights.

Dad hikes the Tetons

 Hi!

Dad was a little bummed that he didn't get to do his uber long backpacking trip to the Uintas this summer. Too many people decided not to go, so these three hit up the Tetons instead. Here are some pics from his trip:

Even though school had started it was still a busy place. He had a good time! Uintas are still on the docket for next year. It's the only thing on his bucketlist! Tetons look cool huh? They are beautiful mountains and I'm glad Dad still got to get out.
